Peer Review Process

LearnScape: Journal of Education and Learning implements a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published articles.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review.

Review Process Stages

  1. Initial Screening
The editorial team evaluates submitted manuscripts to ensure they align with the journal’s focus and scope, meet formatting requirements, and comply with ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.
  2. Reviewer Assignment
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who have expertise in the relevant field.
  3. Peer Review Evaluation
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, relevance to the field, and contribution to knowledge. They provide constructive feedback and recommendations.
  4. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ comments, the editor makes one of the following decisions:
    • Accept without revision
    • Accept with minor revisions
    • Revise and resubmit (major revisions)
    • Reject
  5. Revision Process
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified timeframe. A revised manuscript may be returned to reviewers for further evaluation.
  6. Final Decision and Publication
Once the manuscript meets all academic and ethical standards, it is accepted for publication. The editorial team will proceed with copyediting and publication.
