Author Guidelines
LearnScape: Journal of Education and Learning welcomes high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in education. Authors are encouraged to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.
1. Types of Manuscripts
The journal accepts the following types of submissions:
- Original research articles (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods)
- Review articles (systematic or literature reviews)
- Conceptual or theoretical papers
2. Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited before submission.
3. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be organized as follows:
- Title (clear and informative)
- Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (3–5 words)
- Introduction
- Literature Review (optional, if not integrated in introduction)
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
4. Formatting Requirements
- Manuscript length: 4,000–6,000 words
- Font: Garamond, 12 pt
- Line spacing: 1.15
- Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
- File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
5. Citation and References
- Use APA Style (7th Edition) for citations and references
- Ensure all references are cited in the text
- Use recent and relevant sources (preferably from the last 3-5 years)
6. Originality and Plagiarism
Submitted manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions will be screened for plagiarism. A similarity index above 20% may result in rejection.
7. Submission Process
Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors must ensure that all required metadata and documents are completed.
8. Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors should remove any identifying information from the manuscript to ensure anonymity.
9. Ethical Considerations
- Authors must ensure ethical research practices, especially when involving human participants
- Include ethical clearance (if applicable)
- Avoid data fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism
