Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of social studies learning outcomes of third grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah through the application of diorama bentang alam media integrated with the Project Based Learning Model. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method which is carried out in two stages of action. The subjects of the study were 17 students in grade III of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes from the first action to the second action. In the initial condition, the percentage of classical completeness was only 35.3%. In action I, it increased to 64.7% by implementing a diorama with the Project Based Learning learning model. Furthermore, action II achieved an increase of 88.2%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of landscape diorama media with project-based learning integration can improve the learning outcomes of social studies for grade III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. The contribution of this research lies in the development of more contextual and visual science learning through the integration of diorama media and PjBL, so that it can be an innovative alternative for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in increasing students' involvement and understanding of landscape materials nature
