LARIK: Journal of Linguistics and Literary Studies invites scholars, researchers, lecturers, and practitioners from around the world to submit high-quality and original manuscripts for its inaugural issue (Volume 1, No. 1).

LARIK is a peer-reviewed academic journal committed to advancing scholarly discourse in the fields of linguistics and literary studies. The journal prioritizes manuscripts that demonstrate theoretical originality, methodological rigor, interdisciplinary approaches, and relevance to global academic conversations.

We welcome contributions that offer novel insights, critical perspectives, and strong engagement with contemporary issues in language and literature, both in local and international contexts.

Scope of the Journal

LARIK publishes articles in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Linguistics (general and applied)

  • Sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics

  • Pragmatics and discourse analysis

  • Language education and pedagogical linguistics

  • BIPA (Indonesian for Speakers of Other Languages)

  • Literary theory and criticism

  • Sociology and psychology of literature

  • Comparative literature

  • Literature and contemporary issues (culture, environment, religion, identity, media, and technology)

Types of Manuscripts

  • Original research articles

  • Conceptual or theoretical papers

  • Critical literature reviews with clear analytical frameworks

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Each manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity.
